Getting Around Stuttgart
Stuttgart's public transportation (S-Bahn, subway and street cars) operates daily from about 5am to 1am. A book with all the schedule information for the entire transportation network can be purchased at the main train station as well as at the VVS ticket counters.
Trains | Main Train Station Stuttgart
The main train station is classified under monumental protection and is located in downtown Stuttgart, in close proximity of the Königstraße (Stuttgart’s shopping district) and the Schlossgarten, which is also known as the "Green U" of Stuttgart.
Stuttgart's main train station, similar to its surrounding area, offers its guests a selection of businesses that cater to their shopping, service and gastronomic needs. Travel agencies located in the train station also provide many interesting offers.
Flights | Stuttgart Airport
The Stuttgart Airport in Leinfelden-Echerdingen (STR) is located approx. 13 km (8 miles) from downtown Stuttgart. The airport's four terminals welcome around 8.8 million passengers each year. Nearly 62 airline companies offer flights to 110 destinations in 33 countries.

When women use the Night Taxi Service after 8pm, the SSB will pay 3 Euro for every trip.
